Do you believe it is mid-June already? Seems we just got started in the RV'ing season in the upper Mid-West. But we will be camping soon.
Project X, is a go! I received the first circuit boart (the project requires two), and built the "hard part" and it is working great. In fact, I am going to build several as I have two golf carts that will benefit from it as well as my RV. Hint... what do two golf carts and a 5th wheel RV have in common?
I did make a mistake on the initial board. I got the + and - lines reversed and I am lucky I did not burn anything out. So I had to order an updated circuit board (but the one I reversed I was able to correct - at least for the prototype).
And I ordered the second circuit board so when that arrives, I can start the final construction phase. "Oh boy, this is gonna be great"!
Did I say this was also an ATTiny85 powered project?
I published a video on TV glare screens today. While not a perfect solution, it was a noticeable improvement, so watch the video and see what you think.
Looks like I am going to upgrade my axles to 5200lb (currently they are 4400lb). I have the choice of going with Lippert (OEM) or making the move to Dexter. Same price either way. It will be awhile as there is at least a month lead-time, so I will have more on this as time goes on (I will be having it done by a shop as I just don't have the tools and space to do it myself).
Until the next time;
